Beaverton Lodge Resident Artists
“A Community of Artists”
July 17th – August 27th, 2005
The first exhibition of the community of resident artists included Jacqueline Brockway, Marion Carlson, Mary Clinton, Mary Coleman, Margaret Jean Fetz, Robert Hostetter, Frances Jorgensen, Richard Melton, Ruth Miller, Joan Pender, Irene Phoenix, Margaret Reed, Jean Robinson, Borghild Selid, Laura Sheron, and Lucille Smith.
Beaverton Lodge has always had a special relationship with original artwork. From its inception, artwork by a wonderful array of Oregon artists has been assembled to decorate our main living spaces.
Over the years, we’ve attracted residents who appreciate the creative focus of the Lodge. Many of our residents are accomplished artists themselves, and the Golden Gallery was originated as a special venue to exhibit their creativity. We hope to be able to present many more resident exhibits in the future.
