Alex Paul and Laura Ross-Paul, the owners of Beaverton Lodge, have deep roots supporting art. Laura is a noted Northwest painter and the couple has spent many years collecting art for the Lodge.

Art Walk 1Beaverton Lodge is proud of the numerous pieces of original art that hang on our walls and we are aware that people choose to live here because the artwork helps create a stimulating and comfortable environment.

The Beaverton Lodge GOLDEN GALLERY original art collection reflects the work of our best regional artists, from the first generation of modernists to the present work of Northwest influenced painters.

Art Walk 2There is a heavy interest in both nature and the figure. It is hoped that this work stimulates reflection on the artists’ intent. Numerous pieces have been borrowed from Beaverton Lodge for museum exhibitions. We are now adding work from the senior community as we recognize the creative value around us.

Art Walk 3Each of our hallways has its own unique name, organizing the themes of the collection. Guided tours are offered during new exhibition openings at the Golden Gallery, or by appointment.
